Introduction
 

Every time an entrepreneur looks back, one may recall the moments of humble beginnings. Those struggles, month after month, to ensure enough cash to pay for salaries, or for power bills or to suppliers or to, and yet finally being able to manage a few bucks to support self and family. Survival through the initial gestation period was the key for one to reach where one may be today. While one can view the achievements till date with fair amount of pride, future success is never guaranteed to anyone based on the glory of the past alone.

Continuing success for an organization lies in its CEO's ability to see beyond managing current business requirements, into the emerging future trends; and timely preparing self and one's team in tune with those requirements. CEO needs insights into building an organizational culture that has systemic ability to identify and proactively nurture value-creation at individual levels, in tune with future-trends. In short, one needs to learn how to transform oneself into a value-creating leader.

No matter which business activity one is involved in today, the future era is not just an extesion of the past. Rather, it is meant to be different in most fundamental way. Mind-mobility is leading us towards the greatest knowledge explosion ever, where power of thought (and not that of position or capital) will govern the future direction for any organization, business or otherwise. The direction of economy is reversing: from Commerce-driven knowledge to Knowledge-driven commerce.

No wonder, India along with the rest of the world is entering into a new era of wealth revolution, where an individual with vision and conviction can dare to compete with a mighty organization through sheer power of combining creative excellence and ability of trusted-relationship networking . Such is the potential ahead in times to come.

Future need not be uncertain for those who are willing to invest their time in creating greater value within themselves and in those around them. Role of capital as seed-money remains but the brute force of money disappears because independent minds can no longer be bought for a price.

Welcome to the new era where knowledge-growth would come about by the convergence of individual minds, those trained to think independently and yet willing to function together as one syphony orchestra for greater harmony creations.
